I'm all about simplifying and making my everyday experience in life an easier one. And while minimalists believe that less stuff equals higher efficiency, I tend to subscribe to a counter philosophy.
Sometimes bringing new things into your life actually makes things easier. Case in point: these six affordable beauty gadgets that'll save you time and money (and make you feel fabulous).
Gel Manicure Curing Lamp, $39.99
Into gel manicures? Spending too much at the salon? Have no time to actually get to the salon? Do it at home. This bad boy by MelodySusie cures your LED and Gelish nail polish like a beast, leaving you with an inexpensive manicure that lasts for at least half the month. It's only $39.99 at Amazon, which is like the cost of two manis. And you don't have to tip the machine (just plug it in).
Unmarx Mark Eliminator, $9.99
I'm calling Unmarx a gadget because I don't know what other category it fits in. I keep one in my bathroom and one in my car for easy access when facing a serious wardrobe emergency. Rub it back and forth to nix deodorant marks, makeup transfer, an unruly case of lint, or even pet hair (though I'm slowly giving up on the cat hair battle, friends).
Panasonic Heated Eyelash Curler, $39.99
My favorite two features to play up are my eyes and my hair, and you better believe I've got an arsenal of tools I reach for on the regular. This heated eyelash curler by Panasonic kind of scared me at first (heat + eyes = potential for ouch), but it's actually super duper easy to use, and it works. And it's not like it gets that hot.
ESSIO Aromatherapy Diffuser for Shower, $44.99
I don't know about you, but I'm a sucker for home fragrance and, in particular, aromatherapy. Adding it to my shower seemed like a no brainer. ESSIO's Aromatherapy Diffuser comes with three different pods and a device that attaches to your shower head. It slowly dispenses as you shower, which makes for a nice bathing experience. I use it for special occasions or when I really need a pick me up.
Bliss Fabulips Pout-o-Matic Lip Smoothing System, $48
Soft, pillowy lips are highly coveted, as you know. This lip exfoliator by bliss helps in your efforts to achieve just that. Apply a bit of the exfoliating sugar scrub to your lips and use the utensil to massage it in for 30 seconds. Not only does it soften, it improves circulation, which gives a slight plumping effect.
Emjoi Micro-Pedi Nano Callus Remover, $40
I'm gonna spare you the before and after on this Emjoi Micro-Pedi Nano Callus Remover and just tell you that it works. It's essentially a super exfoliator that runs on battery power to quickly eliminate callouses and other gross things on your feet. My feet definitely feel and look softer after use.
