The one brand she felt compelled to declare her love for during a hasty photo opp.

Earlier this week, Mandy and I had the chance to attend a meet-and-greet with Lindsay Lohan in connection with the launch of the karaoke app Just Sing It, something that Lindsay and her brother Michael are both big supporters of.

When I showed up, I learned that it was a quick hello before a photo opp, but I figured I would try to get some beauty info from Lindsay being the majorly professional reporter that I am.

I asked her if I could talk to her about beauty products, but was then immediately told by someone else, "No questions!" I was bummed, because Lindsay was seriously looking good, and I wanted to know what she's got going on in her routine.

Thankfully, LiLo indulged me. She grabbed my arm and informed me that she liked Arcona.

Thinking back, this doesn't surprise me at all. The brand is also favoured by Liz Goldwyn, another fair-skinned redhead. Assuming these ladies both have sensitive skin due to their colouring, Arcona as a pick makes total sense.

The brand cold-processes everything in their line in small batches, using fresh and natural ingredients, and recommends all the products be used within six months of opening. They offer intense results that rescue skin damaged by environmental hazards (like Los Angeles smog) while still leaving your face mellow.

Right now I'm all about their Vitamin A Complex, a night repair serum with retinol and glycolic acid to resurface skin damaged by the sun or acne scarring. I had a pretty bad breakout right before my latest New York trip, so I'm counting on this wonder-serum to knock out some of the dark spots left behind.

And if you're one of the people who was wondering what Lindsay smelled like (seriously, people keep asking me this), she didn't really smell like anything in particular. No heavy perfumes. Just … nothing. So, there's that inside scoop.

Now, if you could ask any celebrity for the dirt on their beauty routine, who would it be?
