Jane Pratt is the visionary behind xoJane, one of the fastest-growing and most provocative women's websites. At the age of 24, Pratt launched Sassy, a magazine for teenage girls, and, in doing so, became the youngest editor-in-chief ever of a national magazine. Pratt left the teen title to launch JANE magazine, a lifestyle magazine for women 18 to 34, which debuted in 1997. JANE was nominated for a National Magazine Award for General Excellence by the American Society of Magazine Editors, and Pratt was named "Editor of the Year" in 2002 by Adweek magazine.

While still at Sassy, Pratt hosted her eponymous daytime talk show, Jane, on the Fox television network. Pratt then went on to host The Jane Pratt Show on Lifetime and a Sirius XM talk show.

She was recently recognized as one of the most influential women in advertising by Ad Age and xoJane was named a Top 100 Website for Women by Forbes.

Marci, Executive Editor

Marci Robin is the executive editor of xoVain and helped launch the site in 2013 as beauty director. After hurtling through the creative writing program at Florida State University, she moved to the city of her birth, New York, for an internship at The Late Show With David Letterman, eventually breaking into online content by auctioning herself on eBay as an editorial assistant. She's been writing and editing ever since, serving as associate editor at Alloy and, after moving back to Florida for a while, senior online editor at NewBeauty magazine. Florida is decidedly not her jam, though, so she now lives in Brooklyn with her dog, Rufus.

In addition to xoVain, Marci is senior contributing editor at xoJane, and her writing has been featured on Refinery29, YouBeauty, Bio, Archetypes, Time, The Daily Dot, and ever so much more.

Sable, Editor

Sable is a beauty writer and xoVain's Editor. She's also a Cancer/Capricorn-rising. She lives in Brooklyn where she enjoys eating bread and playing music (not at the same time) when she isn't hoarding beauty products. An evangelist for sun protection and a skincare-first beauty philosophy, Sable has never quite #wokeuplikethis, but that's okay otherwise she'd probably be out of a job.

Wendy, Contributing Editor

Wendy Rose Gould is a latte-loving, vintage-collecting, cat-adoring beauty and fashion writer whose work has appeared both online and in print. While she grew up in urban Indiana surrounded by horse buggies, cornfields, and churches on every block, she's since moved west to Phoenix (after a stint in South Korea) where cacti and haboobs reign supreme. Wendy believes a woman should never leave the house without enviable hair and a spritz of her staple perfume. And also mascara. Never leave the house without mascara.

Kelly, Contributing Editor

Kelly Dougher is a writer based on the East Coast. In addition to being a Contributing Editor at xoVain, she writes for various publications, usually about beauty and fashion. She would probably write about her various pop culture obsessions too if she wasn't so busy reading books and watching TV all the time. Kelly spends the rest of her time with her dog Doug, who has better hair than she does. If you ever need advice on pixie cuts, hair bleach, or lipstick, she's your girl to ask.
