I can't waste another Saturday lying in bed recovering from the night before, what with my new adult-ness and all. There's too much fun stuff to do! And I no longer have Apple TV.
After five days of FTW fakes on my fingers (article to come), followed by a sallow two days of what-the-hell-have-I-done-? recovery mode wherein I moped around with flesh-toned polish applied in the most I've-given-up fashion, I wanted something a bit more I'm-a-happy-person-that-takes-care-of-myself.
It's like orange juice for your hungover fingertips. Or the melty cheese in your breakfast taco for your hungover fingertips. Or both, if you really need a quick fix. Plus a banana, I swear to god it's a fool-proof combination. And you won't have to bother your nurse friend for an B-12 IV because you have a wedding that evening in Houston or whatever.
Catching a glance at my flawless electric sherbert manicure in the greyish pit in which I awoke flooded me with such energy and happiness that I got all "carpe diem, clowns!" and went to brunch. I'd also like to point out that I'm going on five days now with no chips, thanks, I'm sure, to Butter London's Nail Foundation and Hardwear P.D. Quick Topcoat-- neither of which I've ever used before and am pleasantly surprised.
What are your hangover remedies? OMG will you guys include pics of your nails in the comments and stuff? We can make this a thing.
