My day-to-day look tends to incorporate warm neutrals quite a bit as far as eyeshadow. Every now and again, I like to add a little pizazz to my otherwise standard uniform, and what better way to do that then to add a pop of bright and sunny yellow?
With my eyes primed, I added an all-over wash of an ivory shadow from lash line to brow bone and did a wing with black liner across the upper lash line.
Taking a dampened angled liner brush, I dip it into a bright yellow shadow and line just above the outer extension of my wing.
To add a bit more dimension to my look, I add a warm soft brown eye shadow to my crease and blend it out with a fluffy blending brush and a little bit of a flesh-toned shadow.
I wanted a little bit more pop on the eyes, so I took a dampened pencil brush and added a little bit of that same bright yellow to the inner corner of my eye.
I finished the rest of the eye with a couple of coats of mascara and filled in my brows with a chocolate brown pencil.
With the pop of yellow I kept the rest of my look light, adding a little bit of soft pink blush to the cheeks and a pale pink/lilac lipstick.
You guys killed it yet again in last week’s thread; here are three of my favorites:
