I was an inappropriately curious child (cue Lana Del Rey instrumental music), helping myself to whatever and whoever’s personal effects. To call a spade a spade, I was just a big snoop.
I especially loved looking through people’s bath and beauty products to see if they used the same products as me, or if theirs was better. Today, though, I am an adult woman-child with MANNERS. I don't just go sifting through someone else's things...without permission.
The first time I met Alle we were having lunch and she whipped out her cosmetics pouch to reapply her lipstick. "May I?" I asked, zeroing in on her pouch. She'd barely nodded her head before I was wrist-deep, pulling out treasures, and asking about her eyeliner (the one that's on her HG list). If my rude behavior had registered, she'd totally forgotten about it as she sang the praises of her favorite eyeliner. See? Beauty products are bonding material.
I thought it might be fun to switch it up for a change and show everyone else what's going on in my beauty stash. Specifically, the products I carry around with me on the daily.
But if I show you mine, I WILL be asking to see yours.

As you can see, the majority of my stash is all lip products! I don't really touch-up my eye makeup because if it's done right it shouldn't need touching up, or maybe I'm just lazy. Lips, though, lips can always change throughout the day, depending on how I'm feeling and what I'm wearing.
It helps to have an arsenal of lippies at the ready. Here's a closer look at just the lip stuff in my bag.
I usually sport a strong lip in social settings, but keep things low key with a stain or tinted balm during my daily routine. If I’m going out sans purse, I’ll stick at least two lip colors in my coat pocket (this is also determining factor in all my outerwear purchases).
I get anxious if I leave my makeup bag at home or forget to transfer it to a new bag, so it’s not uncommon to find random lip balms scattered throughout my purse/bag collection. I don’t know about you guys, but my lips tend to shrivel up at the knowledge that I’m traversing the world without any goop to spread on them.
But enough about me! Indulge my inner lurky-loo and please please please let me get what I want: to scope out all your pretty makeup bags and see what's inside.
