I am here all day for Black Panther!

In my recent Scarlet Witch-inspired LOTW I mentioned that I might take on more superhero-themed looks and that T'Challa — aka Black Panther — was next on my list. I attempted it once and didn't like what I came up with, but I don't give up so easily! Cue round two!

I started by applying a shimmery silver shadow all over the mobile lid. I used the shade Silver in my LORAC Pro Palette 2.

I wanted the cat eye to be more on the graphic side, so I lined across my upper lash line with a black liquid liner, winged it out, and then brought the line over my crease (I have to go slightly above it because my eyes are a bit hooded) and towards the inner corner of my eye.

You can use a gel liner for this, too. I used a pen format for more control.

After I traced the shape out, I filled in the negative space with a matte black eye shadow, Makeup Geek's Corrupt.

Once I was satisfied with the shadow saturation I took a makeup remover wipe around my index finger and cleaned up any shadow fallout and sharpened the edges of my wing.

Doesn't it kind of look like panther ears?

I lined my lower lash line with that same matte black shadow I used earlier and then added some silver on top of it along the inner third of my lower lash line.

Mascara and brows were the final touches on the eyes.

I went with a warm nude blush on the cheeks —  ColourPop Super Shock Cheek in Quarters — and a peachy-nude lipstick — NARS Audacious Lipstick in Anita — to finish the whole look off.

Here are my favorite looks from last week:

What character would you like to see an interpretation of next? I'm 99% sure I'm going to have a whole host of new inspiration after watching X-Men Apocalypse this weekend...
