LOTW: A Monochromatic Wine-Stained Look

Sultry, flushed, and perfect for evening.

I am all about looks that take minimal effort lately; it's so hot that I just want to get ready quickly and leave for the day knowing my makeup is going to stay intact. I also love a good monochromatic look because it often leads to using less products.

For this look, I actually started with my base makeup applied (a mixture of the Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint in Dark and the Mixed Chicks In the Mix Quick Stick in Alluring Almond) and then applied eyelid primer. 

Once my lids, were primed I took a wine-colored cream blush and applied it to my eyelids and cheeks with my fingers.

Next, I took a shimmery wine-colored shadow and smudged it along my lower lash line with a stiff blending brush.

I finished my eyes by adding mascara and filling in my brows.

Finally, to complete the look, I patted a wine-colored lip stain all over my lips with my ring finger and then concentrated more color directly in the inside center of the lips, which is a variation of this awesome look Trista did recently
