Because the lower lash line needs some creative love, too.

I’ve been trying to play around more with graphic eye makeup looks and I thought this week I’d share one with you that I thought was really interesting!

With black gel liner, I lined my entire lower lash line (waterline included) and then drew small rectangles on the "lower lid" area, leaving a little gap in between each. I had space for three on my lower lash line.

The shapes are already drawn here (it was too difficult to get good pics in process). (I'm just using the gif to give you a better idea of how I drew each shape.)

When I drew on the third, outermost shape, instead of closing it off like the others, I extended it into a wing from the outer corner of my eye and then drew a black line across my upper lash line, connecting it to that wing.

I went back over the gel liner with matte black eye shadow to set everything in place.

To finish the look I skipped blush this time and went with a shimmery bronzer all over and extra liquid highlighter.

For the lips I pressed a burnt gold shadow all over (MAC Amber Lights) and then topped with lip balm (Glossier Balm Dotcom).

Here are my favorite looks from last week:
