Quick Question: Have You Seen This Dustin Hoffman Interview?

"I would never talk to [Dorothy Michaels] because she doesn't fulfill physically the demands that we're brought up to think women have to have in order to ask them out … There's too many interesting women I have not had the experience to know in this life because I have been brainwashed."

Dustin Hoffman gave an interview to AFI a while back (everyone's saying it was in 2012, but I think it was farther back than that), and even though a particular excerpt about his experience leading up to making Tootsie has been up on YouTube for almost seven months, it's just now garnering a ton of attention due to posts by The Mary Sue and Upworthy in the last couple of days.

After a couple of friends posted links to it on Facebook, I resisted clicking through. I have to be in a certain mood to be open to watching videos other people claim are touching; more often than not, I roll my eyes. But today, I was feeling less cynical--and I'm already a Dustin Hoffman fan--so I went for it.

You guys, I was genuinely moved.

Please give it three minutes if you haven't already:

I mean... CAN I PLEASE HUG DUSTIN HOFFMAN?

By the way, the wife he mentions is Lisa Hoffman, a beauty entrepreneur whose brand focuses more on the experience of using the products than an appearance-altering result. I would like to hug her, too.

So now that you've watched it, the Quick Question today isn't so much "Have you seen it?" as it is: What do you think?
