What tiiiiiime is it? It's pie time! No wait, it's video time. I'm clearly still in holiday mode.
Today I'm talking about HAIR CHANGES and how they affect "no-makeup makeup." I'm not such a fan of that term. I feel like it positions wearing makeup as something shameful that you should be embarrassed to do, which is 100% pure garbage. So here is a minimal makeup look that's really pretty, and works with my newly black hair.
Learn my best secret for awesome looking skin (hint: it's two products mixed together). Also I yell at you to always wear sunscreen, and a quick reminded about how you SHOULD blend your concealer.
Products used: CeraVe AM moisturizer, Make Up For Ever Full Cover Concealer, Smashbox Photo Finish Primer, Make Up For Ever HD Finishing Powder.
Blush + highlighter (1:36)
Blush and highlighter are my saviors. Well, them and Nicki Minaj. But this is only a video about one of those things.
Products used: NARS blush in Super Orgasm (it has gold glitter!), Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal.
Sticking with the peachy-pink theme, but adding a tiny bit of definition. The liquid liner along the top lashes is subtle, but really brings it all together.
All these exact shades work for my skin tone; for explanations of the colors to look for to recreate it for you, please see the video!
Products used: the palest shade in Stila's Rose Gold Glow Eye Shadow Trio, MAC eye shadow in Wedge (for the crease), Max Factor eye shadow in Wild White (highlight), MAC Plush Lash mascara, LORAC Front of the Line Pro Liquid Liner, MAC Technakohl liner in Greyprint (used underneath), Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade in Ebony for brows.
I've stayed away from gold-flecked peach lip colors for far too long, and I have been missing out. Because this is so perfect.
Product used: Laura Mercier Lip Glace in Peach Hope.
The final product!
