I cherish the time I spend idea bouncing with team xoVain. It was during one of these sessions that April asked me to review four popular hair masks--completely blind!

We settled on strengthening masks and I took home four unmarked bottles with unknown contents.

This would have been a fabulous opportunity for pranks, but April is much more mature than I am!

HERE'S A RECAP FOR ANYONE WHO CAN'T WATCH THE VIDEO RIGHT NOW.

***These reviews were written before I found out what was what. Scroll down to match the review with the mask.***

Mask #1 (green cap) was really slippery. It smelled fresh and citrusy and was in and out of clean, damp hair in seven minutes. It wasn’t bad by any means, but it made my hair feel a little TOO nice, almost like cotton candy.
RATING: I gave this one 2.5 Cat Heart Eye Emojis

Mask #2 (purple cap) was also big on the slip--I could tell it was silicone-based--but it wouldn’t be too bad to use occasionally. It smelled like teenage body spray (kind of like sweet tarts) but it wasn’t too heavy and didn’t leave any build-up.
RATING: I think this would be a great cheaper option. I gave it 2 Cat Heart Eye Emojis

Mask #3 (pink cap) worried me, as it was a pre-shampoo treatment. It had a buttery texture that melted to oil, and it smelled like yummy coffee cake and cinnamon. It ended up being easy as pie to shampoo out. And after using it my hair looked gorgeous!
RATING: I rate this one at 3.5 Cat Heart Eye Emojis.

Mask #4 (blue cap) was straightforward, smelled like professional shampoo, and made my hair look absolutely incredible. It didn’t leave behind any weight and my hair blew out smooth and voluminous after the treatment.
RATING: Mask number four gets 4 Cat Heart Eye Emojis.

I hope you enjoy our lil' vid. The results may shock you--they certainly shocked me! Another surprise: We filmed the video on my birthday and the team gave me a sweet treat. Watch until the end to hear my wish for all you dear readers!
